What a plan costs against what you bill

- How much does PoolVerify cost?
- Starter is $49 a month, Professional is $99, and Business is $199, billed month to month in USD. Billed annually the same plans are $39, $79, and $159 a month, a 20% saving. There are no setup fees and no per‑report charges: the subscription is the whole price.
- Is there a free plan?
- No. PoolVerify is a paid subscription with a 14‑day free trial that needs no credit card to start. You choose a plan when you download your first report, and nothing is charged until the trial ends.
- What is included in the 14‑day trial?
- The California BPC §7195 checklist, photo capture, and e‑signatures with Starter limits, no card needed. The first PDF report is where you choose a plan; from then on that plan's limits apply, and billing starts only when the 14 days end.
- What happens when I reach 25 inspections on Starter?
- The app warns you at 80% of the monthly allowance and emails you from 60%. At 25 inspections, new inspections are blocked until the next 30‑day billing period starts or you upgrade to Professional, which has no monthly cap. Reports, photos, and signatures you already recorded stay available.
- Can I switch plans?
- You can upgrade at any time. You can move to a lower plan when your current usage fits its limits: for example, a team of three cannot move to Starter, which includes one team member, until the extra members are removed.
- Can I cancel, and do you refund?
- You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Partial periods are not refunded, and annual plans are non‑refundable once the 14‑day trial has ended. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing.
- How do I pay?
- By card, in USD, through Polar, our payment processor. You can switch between monthly and annual billing from Settings in the app.
- Which plan should I choose?
- Starter suits a solo inspector doing up to 25 inspections a month. Professional removes the cap and adds custom checklists, scheduling, and viewer roles for up to 3 team members. Business is for inspection companies: unlimited team members, admin and owner roles, and priority email support.
